Mt.Jangbok Park

Mt. Jangbok Park is one of celebrated mountains in Jinhae, and both sides of road in a 1.5-km length running from Majin Tunnel to expressway check point are surrounded with a line of cherry blossoms. As you look down on the whole area of Jinhae embroidered with cherry blossoms, in harmony with the blue sea of Jinhae Bay, it is as good as a natural masterpiece. Around the park, varieties of cultural events and art festivals are opened in Citizens' Hall, Gyeongnam Literary Hall and Park Land(amusement park), so you can have a joyful time experiencing various tourist activities.

Anmin Road

As you pass Anmin Road, a gateway from Changwon to Jinhae, you can go through a cherry blossom street of a 5.6-km length. A great number of bunches of cherry blossoms are canopied over your head, and you may feel like falling into illusion of a snowfield, looking down on the downtown full of cherry blossoms. There is little traffic at ordinary times and lines of tall trees make pleasant shades, so it turns out to be a perfect walkway.

Korea Naval Academy & Naval Base Headquarters Of jinhae

Cherry Blossom Street in Korea Navy Academy and Naval Base Headquarters that are opened to public only during Gunhang Festival is one of the best tourist attractions, which you can see during the Gunhang Festival along with the view of the compound of Naval Academy. In addition to beautiful lines of cherry blossom in full bloom, in the compound are "Geobukseon" (Old korean ship of turtle shape) in full size and a museum that is archiving historic documents about the Navy and Admiral Lee Sun-shin (Chungmugong- a great naval hero).

Yeojwacheon

Along the Yeojwacheon running from Park Land - a gateway of Jinhae, to Jinhae Girls' High School is about a 1.5-km cherry blossom tunnel. It is less crowded than downtown Jinhae where various events are hold, so you can take a walk leisurely seeing lines of cherry blossom trees and exposing yourself to a spring breeze. As one of the most favorite places for photographing, it is highly popular among citizens as well as tourists.

Mt.Jehwang Park

This is a citizen's park located at Mt. Jehwang in the center of Jinhae. Along both sides of a 365-stairway, alias called "A Year Stairway", are cherry blossom trees in full bloom and the blossoms of golden bell. As you reach the top of the park, you can look down on the entire area of Jinhae city covered with cherry blossoms and blue sea.

Fresh Water Research Institute

As a test and research institute for the promotion of fishing business, which belongs to National Fisheries Research & Development Institute, it is opened to public only during Jinhae Gunhang Festival. Within the precinct, scores of thousands of trees, including cherry blossom trees, are forming natural forests. Especially, a scene of cherry blossoms-falling is so beautiful to make this place used for drama shooting.
